2 Chronicles 21:5-6

Jehoram was thirty- two years old when he became king, and he reigned eight years in Jerusalem. 6 And he walked in the way of the kings of Israel, as the house of Ahab had done, for the daughter of Ahab was his wife. And he did what was evil in the sight of the Lord.

The name Jehoram means: “God is exalted,” in this case it means “God is [not] exalted.” Jehoram consolidated power by killing all his siblings. He was married to Ahab and Jezebel’s daughter, and the text seems to read “so obviously he walked in the ways of the kings of Israel, which is to say, wickedly.
He is king alone for 8 years. He suffers a bowel disease for the last two.  He dies.  The Bible says : And he dies with no one’s regret. Profoundly sad that he did not live according to his name by exalting God rather than himself.
