Hebrews 5:14 (HCSB)

But solid food is for the mature — for those whose senses have been trained to distinguish between good and evil.

We need our senses trained to distinguish between good and evil. I don’t believe that any Christian would disagree—unfortunately we live at a time when our culture is beginning to disagree, which doesn’t bode well for our culture, but I digress.  We can train our senses by taking on the solid food of the Scriptures, by growing into maturity.  We will not grow into maturity if we do not take in the solid food of the Scriptures.  It is that simple.
How about you, dear reader?  Are you eating solid food?
