“Then the priests and the Levites stood to bless the people, and God heard their voice, and their prayer came into His holy dwelling place in heaven.” (2 Chronicles 30:27 HCSB)

If it was true that God heard the voice of the priests and Levites when they prayed, and if it is true that their prayer “came into His holy dwelling place in heaven”—and it was, then it is true that when we pray, our prayer enters God’s holy dwelling place in heaven and God hears.

If we were inclined to doubt this truth, we have the same truth straight from the pen of the apostle John:

“Now this is the confidence we have before Him: Whenever we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.And if we know that He hears whatever we ask, we know that we have what we have asked Him for.”
(1 John 5:14–15 HCSB)

When you pray, dear reader, God hears.
