Psa. 55:22 ¶ Cast your burden on the LORD, and He will sustain you; He will never allow the righteous to be shaken. (HCSB)

We may not know where to cast our burdens, semi-content to grovel around and worry about them, but the authors of Scripture were under no such difficulty, you cast your burden on The Lord.  As Ed Welch points out in this book Running Scared: Fear, Worry, and the God of Rest, this makes it sound like the King cares if we worry, if we have burdens, if we have difficulties, and of course our King does exactly that.

You have a choice: You can throw your burdens on your King or you can carry them yourself.  It’s really up to you, but the King specifically asks for your burdens.
