“I will give them a heart to know Me, that I am Yahweh. They will be My people, and I will be their God because they will return to Me with all their heart.” (Jeremiah 24:7 HCSB)

The Lord to Jeremiah speaking about the one’s who had gone into exile in Babylon.  So prophesied.  So done.

We do have a beautiful example of grace in action here.  The exiles—or strictly speaking, the descendants of the exiles—will return to the Lord with all their heart when the Lord himself gives them a heart to know him.  In other words, what God requires of them, he himself will provide.  Knowing the history of the exiles, we know that God was true to his word.  He gave them what he required of them.
